Influences & Creative Process
Having started music at a young age playing music instruments at church, music has always been a part of me. I'm inspired by legends like Metro Boomin, Mike-Will-Made-It, and Pharrell, as well as sounds and melodies from many Kenyan musical legends, and underground african and electronic music. I usually start with a melody, build the drums around it, and use texture layers to bring the beat to life. My workflow is fast, raw, and emotion-driven.
